A mantra is a word, phrase, or sound you can use in meditation or throughout your day to achieve a state of mind. Today, I’m choosing to discuss a mantra that is connected to your third Eye chakra. The mantra of the Third Eye chakra is “I see.” And, here we’ll discuss, “I see Divine light in everybody.”
One of the traps of our ego is to see ourselves as “better” (or “worse”) than someone else. If you measure success of any given topic, you can place yourself at a more successful level. Perhaps it’s work, parenting, healthy eating, critical reasoning (I could go on and on and on and on here…). And, perhaps technically you are better at a given skill. However, it’s important to remember that at a soul level, you are better than no one.
Each of us is a soul on this Earth traveling our path and learning soul lessons. Each of us is at a different point of our individual journey. Each of our journeys is sooooooo different from the journey of someone else. And each of us is on a path to enlightenment. While you might not agree with another, it is not your place to think them lesser than you. OR…and hear this, you, in turn, are not lesser than anyone else.
Instead, recognize that we have all choices. We are all learning. Do your part within your path to walk towards and connect to your Higher self. Choose choices that serve you and, in turn, serve others. Most importantly, extend your empathy to all those you do and don’t encounter. We’re all beings on this Earth. We are all children of the Universe, making our way. Divine light is within us all, just as much with you as with anyone else.
The mantra “I see Divine light in everybody” will help you to remember the individual journeys of those around you. To recognize that everyone is here traveling their path, a path that is different from yours, is different from each other’s. Cease judgement (externally and internally), increase empathy (again…externally and internally). And, repeat this mantra, “I see Divine light in everybody.”
