Let's talk about Death, shall we?
Updated: Feb 25, 2021
The Tarot is a powerful divination tool, allowing us to learn from our past, understand our present, and prepare for our future. While some might use it as a prediction tool, I do not. I use it to guide my clients, providing them with information and insights as they navigate their life path. Up for discussion this month, a Major Arcana card by the name of…Death. I have had clients worry when they see this card show up in a reading. Please don’t! It’s a beautiful card with an amazing message.

The imagery of the Death card varies greatly from deck to deck. The messaging, though, remains similar. Death (while the meaning will vary from reading to reading) has a collective meaning of transition. It marks the end of something. Think of how many times in your life you experienced an end to make way for a beginning.
As an Intuitive Life Coach, to have this card appear for a client can be quite telling of the transformation they are experiencing. In getting yourself from Point A to Point B, closing the gap from where you are to where you want to be, a transformation takes place. And often it marks an end and a beginning, even if
a mindset versus something tangible.
None of the Tarot cards are inherently “good” or “bad.” Rather, each card has light and shade. Just as you do. Just as life does. It’s a journey. In the wise words of Blue Oyster Cult, don’t fear the reaper.
